SUMMARY OF PROCEEDINGS OF 10th JANUARY, 2011
The proceedings of the House commenced with recitation from the Holy Quran followed by Urdu translation at 11:17 A.M. Mr. Khushdil Khan Advocate, Deputy Speaker, Provincial Assembly was in the Chair.
2. The House offered fateha for the departed soul of veteran politician Major-Gen (Retd) Naseerullah Khan Babar, who was laid to rest yesterday.
3. QUESTION HOUR: Questions relating to Local Government Department were taken up:-
(a) The following questions were replied:-
i. No.987 of Mr. Ateef-ur- Rehman MPA.
ii. No.1007 of Mst: Naeema Shaheen(Nisar), MPA.
iii. Q.No.1229 of Mr. Naseer Muhammad Maidad Khel, MPA. Mr. Bashir Ahmad Bilour, Senior Minister for local Government Elections & Rural Development assured the Member that inquiry would be conducted within fifteen days (15) and the Member would be informed accordingly.
(b) The following questions were lapsed due to absence of the Members:-

5. CALL ATTENTION NOTICES:
Call Attention Notice No. 413 by Mr. Israrullah Khan Gadapore, MPA with regard to inclusion of Kari Shamoozai, Union Council, PK-67 in Tehsil Parowa was moved and Mr. Bashir Ahmad Bilour, Senior Minister for Local Government made a brief statement.
Call Attention Notice No. 449 by Mufti Syed Janan, MPA relating to un-serviceable drinking water schemes was moved and Mr. Bashir Ahmad Bilour, Senior Minister for Local Government made a brief statement on behalf of Chief Minister.
Various Members raised point regarding frequent load-shading of electricity and gas in the Province. The Chair informed the House that an adjournment motion has already been admitted by the House on the same matter and it would be placed on list of business for detailed discussion, however, on the consensus of the House he announced that all the parliamentary leaders shall give names for a delegation/committee not more than ten members to arrange a meeting with President of Pakistan to convey the reservations of the House.
6. THE KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA GOVERNMENT SERVANTS BENEVOLENT FUND (AMENDMENT) BILL, 2011
Mr. Bashir Ahmad Bilour, Senior Minister for Local Government, Elections & Rural Development introduced the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government Servants Benevolent Fund (Amendment) Bill, 2011 in the House on behalf of the Chief Minister.
