PROVINCIAL ASSEMBLY

Mr. Akram Khan Durrani is a renowned and senior politician of the country. He has been elected member KP Assembly for the Sixth time in 2024 General elections. Earlier he had been elected member KP Assembly in 1990 general elections from JUI(F). Later in 1997 elections he was again elected member KP Assembly from JUI(F). In 2002 General Elections he got elected as member and was made the Chief Minister after the MMA (Mutahidda Majlis e Amal) got the majority in the house.
In 2008 he again won the election as JUI(F) candidate and was made the Leader of Opposition in the House.
In 2013 General Elections he won the National Assembly seat from the platform of JUI(F) and was later made part of the cabinet in the PML(N) government and served for 5 years as Federal Minister.
In 2018 General Elections he again got elected as member KP Assembly and also elected as Leader of Opposition in the House.
Mr. Akram Durrani started his political career with JUI(F) and remained part of the same party throughout his political career and contested every election from the platform of JUI(F).
