Maulvi Jehangir Khan, son of Jan Khan, was an elected member of the Provincial Assembly of the North-West Frontier Province (NWFP) from 2002 to 2008. He represented the constituency of PF-90 Chitral-I and was affiliated with Jamiat-e-Ulam-e-Islam Pakistan (JUI)
