Muhammad Zakir Shah, son of Muhammad Ishaq, was an elected member of the Provincial Assembly of the North-West Frontier Province (NWFP) from 2002 to 2008. He represented the constituency of PF-1 Peshawar-I and was affiliated with the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA), a political alliance that included the Markazi Jamiat Ahl-e-Hadith.
