Mukhtar Ali Advocate, son of Amir Ghawas, represented PK-33 Swabi-III in the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from 2013 to 2018, as a member of the Awami National Party (ANP). During his tenure, he held various key positions, including Advisor to the Chief Minister, and membership in two standing committees: Elementary and Secondary Education Department, and Procedure and Conduct of Business, Rules, Privileges, and Implementation of Government Assurances.
