Ms. Farah Khan has been elected on Reserved Seat as Member Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the First time from the platform of PML(N). She is an accomplished and self-driven professional with over 18 years of experience in institutional governance, strategic leadership, and programmatic execution across diverse multi-sectoral organizations. She earned MBA (Finance) Degree in addition to LLB and LLM in Social Sciences. She also worked as advocate and financial analyst as well. Recently she served UNDP-KPACP, where she was responsible for managing the entire spectrum of financial and human resource functions. Her core responsibilities included budget forecasting, financial reporting, tax compliance, procurement and contracting, as well as overseeing recruitment, performance management, policy implementation, and staff capacity development. Previously served as an Analyst (Financial &Human Resource) at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (KP-PPRA) a project of World Bank, contributing to strategic reforms in procurement governance. Demonstrated expertise in managing financial closures, along with end-to-end oversight of tendering, procurement, and contracting processes, including the evaluation and selection of consultants/firms, feasibility assessment of draft Terms of Reference (TORs), and bank/cash reconciliations in alignment with donor and institutional compliance standards. Collaborated with IRD under the Pakistan Deworming Initiative, engaging key stakeholders across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Education, Health, Police, Local Government, and Madrasa authorities. Facilitated cross-sector coordination to ensure effective program delivery and stakeholder alignment. Served as M&E Specialist with UNFPA, providing technical assistance to the Directorate of Health Services (NMDs), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with a focus on stabilization, health systems strengthening, GBV prevention and response, and women's empowerment, particularly in the Newly Merged Districts (NMDs). Supported evidence-based programming to enhance service delivery and socio-economic development across vulnerable communities. Proven Expertise in legal affairs, encompassing litigation, legal advisory, and regulatory compliance across a diverse range of domains, including banking and service matters, civil law, corporate law, tax and revenue, labor laws, and business regulations, as well as electronic and cyber law. Proficient in legal drafting, contract vetting, regulatory interpretation, and representation before judicial and quasi-judicial bodies. Demonstrated ability to navigate complex legal frameworks, deliver strategic legal counsel, and advocate effectively. Skilled in aligning legal strategies with institutional policies, ensuring risk mitigation, and promoting transparent and accountable governance. She is currently affiliated as a member of the Pakistan National Council of the Arts(PNCA), contributing to the promotion, preservation and development of Pakistan's cultural heritage.Moreover, she is actively engaged in supporting national policy formulation on arts and culture, evaluating the artistic initiatives, and fostering platforms for creative expression and cultural diplomacy at both national and provincial levels.
