Participation of the Honorable Members in the Mega Plantation Campaign on Defence Day 6 September 2026
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Forest Department has planned to commemorate the 61st Defence Day of Pakistan on 06 September 2026 through a Mega Plantation Campaign, with the objective of planting one million seedlings across the province in a single day.
In view of the important role of honourable public representatives in community mobilization and promoting environmental stewardship, the active participation of the Honourable Members of the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is highly encouraged. Their participation will not only contribute to the success of this significant plantation initiative but will also help raise public awareness regarding the importance of forests, environmental protection, and climate resilience.
It is, therefore, requested that all Honourable Members of the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa may kindly participate in the Mega Plantation Campaign on 06 September 2026 and play their role in making this province-wide initiative a success.
